Aston Martin One-77

NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd is supplying spark plugs and Lambda sensors (manufactured under the NTK brand) for Aston Martin’s new flagship high-performance sports car, the One-77.

As the name implies, only 77 examples of the £1.2 million two-seater are being produced at the company’s Gaydon, Warwickshire, factory, making NGK’s role in its production even more prestigious.

It is understood that most of the cars have already been paid for and deliveries have started.

The One-77 is powered by what is claimed to be the most powerful naturally aspirated road car engine in the world today.

The 7.3-litre V12 engine has been certified at 750bhp and 750Nm of torque, giving it a 0-62mph figure of under 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 220mph.

The Aston Martin brand is one of the most prestigious in the world and the company been named the UK’s ‘coolest brand’, winning this prestigious accolade for a remarkable fourth time in five years.

Since it was established 10 years ago, the CoolBrands initiative has sought expert opinions from a panel of creative industry specialists and consumers, defining which brands combine desirable products with a dynamic, innovative public image.
