Range Rover Evoque

NGK Spark Plugs (UK) Ltd has won an OE contract to supply spark plugs for a stylish new vehicle.

The brand-leading supplier of spark plugs, glow plugs and Lambda sensors is to supply spark plugs for all the petrol models in the new Range Rover Evoque range.

The Evoque – which goes on sale from September this year – is powered by a new 240PS 2.0-litre Si4 petrol engine that combines direct fuel injection, turbocharging and twin variable valve timing for exceptional driveability and fuel-efficiency and delivers 0-60mph in 7.1 seconds.

NGK’s ILTR6G8G spark plug was chosen for its ignitability and durability qualities on the Evoque, which is available in both five-door and coupé formats.

The new 240PS 2.0-litre Si4 six-speed automatic four-wheel drive comes in Range Rover’s ‘Dynamic’ sporting format with deep body colour sills and bumpers, and black-finished mirrors, grille and side fender blades plus 20-inch Sparkle Silver alloys.

Inside the cabin detailed touches reinforce the sporty theme with aluminium pedal covers, a textured metal finish to the centre console and perforated leather around the steering wheel. The striking exterior of the Dynamic is complemented by a range of bold interior colour schemes.

Dynamic models also come with Adaptive Dynamics featuring MagnaRideTM as standard for an even sharper ride and handling.

On-the-road prices for the Evoque start from £27,955.
